Abstract
The present article deals with the approximation properties of the linear positive operators, including general-Appell polynomials. We establish some results for the convergence of the operators and their order of approximation with the help of the modulus of continuity, Lipschitz class, and Voronovskajatype theorem. Moreover, the statistical approximation properties of these operators are established by employing a universal Korovkin-type statistical approximation theorem. This article concludes with some numerical examples, their graphical representation, and some remarks.
